Congratulations!
White River Design has achieved an incredible 20 years as one of Western Sydney’s premier branding and design agencies.
In May we were invited to The Creative Fringe in Penrith to celebrate a significant milestone. Debbie O’Connor and her team at White River Design had planned a glitzy celebration to mark amazing 20 years in business.
With old and new friends in attendance, the spotlight was on Debbie as she told her story of building one of Penrith’s most recognisable branding agencies.
After two decades at the helm, it was clear that a strong focus on community building, networking, and helping others had provided the foundation for White River Design’s success (not to mention a fair bit of grit and determination from Debbie and her team).
Chameleon Marketing Collective’s head strategist, Leonie Waldron, has Debbie to thank for the very first conversation that sparked a new business venture.
“Debbie is extremely generous with her advice, and has all the time in the world for up and coming business owners and creatives,” says Leonie.
“It was Debbie who gave me some sage advice when I was first starting out, and two years later, that advice is still paying dividends.”
Leonie is a frequent visitor to The Creative Fringe, Penrith’s original and most vibrant co-working space, and it’s here where she has met many of the people in Chameleon Marketing Collective’s creative network.
“Even though our business often overlaps with others in our network, there is a real sense of collaboration rather than competition,” says Leonie.
“Adopting an abundance mindset is one of our core values and we aim to help other freelancers and business owners whenever we can. It’s fantastic to have role models like Debbie in the creative community who have proved that by helping other people, you can also achieve long-term success.”
